Milking Machine Cleaner
The cleaning and disinfecting of the milking plant is one of the most important measures in the production of raw milk of the highest quality.
We support you in the cleaning of milk containers and milk coolers with a wide range of liquid and powdered products which protect products against germs. This includes cleaners with the following properties and application areas:
- Alkaline (with or without disinfectant)
- Sour (also specially for cooking water purification)
- Chlorine
- Phosphate-free
- Nitrate-free
- For milking robots of all manufacturers
- For organic farming
All our milk container and milk cooler cleaners are, of course, QAV-free.
Udder Cleaning
As stated in the Milk Products Ordinance, the cleaning of the teats is an important part of the milking routine and clearly leads to germ reduction.
Since the predominant number of mastitis is caused by environmental germs, the number of mastitis diseases can be reduced by a thorough cleaning of the teats, thus reducing the germ load and the risk of infection by the entry of the pathogens across the canal. The following products help to significantly improve the udder health of your animals as they have a preventive effect and cause a reduction in antibiotic use:
- Liquid, mild detergents (also for foaming)
- Dry udder paper
- Reusable cloths
- Damp cloths and sponge cloths (with high cleaning performance, longevity and ecology)
Udder Dipping & Care Products
Healthy udders are essential for the production of milk of the highest quality. Here our Calgodip Udder Dip and cleaning agents are used.
The Calgodip products, used for dipping, spraying or as a film forming agent, prevent the penetration of bacteria through the wide-open stroke channel and ensure healthy and hygienic teat skin. They take care of and disinfect the skin of the teat after milking and thus offer optimum mastitis prevention.
Oily substances with a biocidal effect are prepared for spraying or dipping:
- Iodine
- Lactic acid
- Chlorhexidine
- Chlorine dioxide (2-component dipping agent)
When iodine-containing dripping agents are used, you can choose from 1200 ppm, 3000 ppm and 5000 ppm, depending on the udder health of your herd. Aloe vera, glycerine, chamomile and lanolin provide an excellent teat conditioner. These care products keep the skin soft and supple, reducing the spread of environmental germs.
Milk Filter
The combination of optimum flow capacity, retention of foreign substances and moisture resistance guarantee that a high quality of the milk is obtained. Choose between sewn and ecologically ultrasonically welded milk filters. Our milk filters are 100% food-safe due to their special processing and the materials we use.

Stable Hygiene
Safeguarding the health of animals in the barn is an essential part of the hygienic process in the production of agriculture.
Inadequate hygiene is a risk to the livestock and affects the success of the farm. The regular implementation of cleaning and disinfection is mandatory in modern animal husbandry.
After pre-cleaning or after the soaking of the surfaces to be cleaned, we offer highly alkaline foam cleaners for the residue-free removal of grease, protein, faeces and biofilms. Our products are characterised by excellent cleaning performance, high foam stability and economical application. After cleaning, disinfection is carried out against bacteria, viruses, fungi and parasites.
Choose from our active ingredients:
- Combination of formaldehyde and glutaraldehyde
- Formic acid
- Peracetic acid
- Combination of glutaraldehyde and QAV
- Chlorocresol
Claw disinfection is also an important part of stable hygiene. We support you in improving the health of the claws of your animals and prevent claw infections.
This product has proof of effectiveness according to the guideline of DVG or DIN EN 1276-1650.

Foam Cleaning
Large-area foam cleaning has become an increasingly important part of agriculture over the course of time. 85% of the germs can be eliminated with a good cleaning. Calvatis supports you in the barn, milking parlour and cleaning of vehicles.
In order to achieve optimal hygiene results, foam cleaning is to be done before each disinfection. This enables the subsequent disinfection to step in and penetrate down to the surface in order to achieve a complete germ reduction.
